Two of Europe's biggest sporting events were happening this weekend. One you will have known about, the football extravaganza that is Euro 2012. It is on the TV and in the papers. You can't escape it, trust me I've tried. 

This weekend was also the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Probably the biggest race in Europe, if not the world. Over 30,000 British people went to France to watch the race, Le Mans is a very big deal. Yet, even while the race was on finding news of the crashes or the cars that were out on any of the main-stream news sites was almost impossible. Finding out who had won once the race had finished was slightly easier, but not without absorbing the outcome of some football match in the process.

For the second week running then, the picture behind the IPL is of some tarmac from Le Sarthe, the track where the 24 Hours of Le Mans is held. And, just like last week the songs have nothing to do with Le Mans, or in fact anything else.
