I will admit that I paid absolutely no attention to the music industry and how people started to buy music (legally) in this digital/downloadable world. This essentially means I am completely confused about the process in which a song is promoted and then subsequently released. How come I can listen to a song on YouTube, Soundcloud, many many blogs and the radio for free but why, if I wanted to buy the song (or listen to it punctuated by adverts on Spotify), do I have to wait for the release date? By the time a song is 'released' I'm usually bored sick of it and can think of nothing more frustrating than having to pay 69p to listen to it.

So this weeks IPL is full of songs which are definitely available to buy now.
